Born in Paris, Andree Juliette Brun gave her first concert at the age of eight. A student of Marguerite Long, Alfred Cortot and Marcel Ciampi, she is a first prize winner of the Paris national Conservatory of Music. Her New York debut took place at Carnegie Main hall in 1972 and she has since appeared regularly at Carnegie hall and Lincoln Center, as well as on prestigious concert series along with such distinguished artists as Shirley Verett, Lazar Berman, The Boston Symphony, etc. |
